Special Events Coordinator

The City of Bastrop is looking for a dynamic, highly organized, customer-focused Special Events Coordinator to help shape the experiences that make our community a destination to live, work, and visit. As part of the Discover Bastrop team, you'll lead the planning and execution of signature City events while guiding community organizations and event producers through the City's special event and film permitting processes. This is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and duties performed by incumbents of this class; employees may be assigned duties which are not listed below; reasonable accommodations will be made as required. Must be able to work holidays, weekends, or after hours as needed. Knowledge of event planning, logistics, permitting, vendor coordination, customer service, and public safety practices.
