Position Title: Special Events Director The Special Events Director plays a crucial role in planning and executing major fundraising events, engaging community stakeholders, and representing the organization in public settings. A key challenge includes understanding the organization's mission and effectively communicating its impact. The ideal candidate will possess creativity and strong organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Plan and execute 3-4 major events annually, including the Distinguished Citizen event and other fundraising initiativesEngage with community members to identify and cultivate relationships with potential donorsWork with executives and medical professionals to assemble committees for fundraising effortsOversee donor engagement and cultivation for a portfolio of 50-75 annual donorsCoordinate event logistics, including venue selection and decorServe as staff advisor for special event committeesAttend board meetings and networking events as required
