The Special Events Manager will be responsible for the implementation of specific annual fundraising events such as the Champion of Children Award Dinner, the Parade of Playhouses, Cherish the Children Luncheon and the CASAblanca Casino Night. • Work closely with the auxiliary liaison to coordinate social activities of the Children's Council and Young Professionals, Dallas CASA's membership auxiliary organizations. • In accordance with the Dallas CASA team philosophy, the person filling this position will be required to carry out or assist with other tasks in addition to the duties listed on this job description. • Work collaboratively with team members and other staff, offer support for fundraising or other events when volunteers are needed, participate in projects that promote agency morale and effectiveness, etc. Professional Development • Required to complete and keep a record of 12-hours of annual professional development related to the Dallas CASA mission and/or to the specific roles and responsibilities of the position.
