Essential Functions: (Other duties and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion) • Directly manage the organization’s annual fundraising gala, The Battle of the BIZ! pitch competition, funding kick off events, and other opportunities for the community to engage with our mission... • Directly manage logistics of all in-person board meetings • Develop and manage the special event budget • Work with internal and external stakeholders to create event run of show, speaking points, and ensure a positive experience for honored guests and leadership • Work with internal and external stakeholders to create a positive experience for all guests • Research, negotiate, and contract with agency vendors. • Self-motivated, high-energy team player with strong organizational skills. Working Environment Conditions/Requirements: (Special Information such as physical requirements, travel requirements, on-call schedules…) • Most of the work is conducted in an office setting, collaborating with colleagues, vendors, and donors • Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, tolerate environmental issues such as exposure to uncomfortable weather conditions during outdoor events. with or without accommodations to transport event items
