The Special Events Manager at Norfolk Botanical Garden plays a vital role in the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale events that enhance the garden's mission and visitor experience. The Manager also recruits, schedules, and supervises seasonal event staff and volunteers particularly during peak periods, and acts as an on-site lead to directly oversee event execution. • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and navigate Garden property during events • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and assist with event setup and takedown • Requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability based on event schedules
