We are seeking a Special Events Operations Coordinator who is responsible for... the planning, organizing, and executing of internal and rental events at the Museum. The Special Events Operations Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Special Events department, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and a smooth functioning department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Support the Manager of Rentals and Special Events, which includes but is not limited to communicating on behalf of the rentals department, providing tours of rental spaces to potential clients, providing quotes, and compiling rental information • Professional appearance and attitude • Coordinate the rental and internal event setup and tear down processes from start to finish • Coordinate event logistics with special events technicians, event vendors and museum staff • Create streamlined event plans and layouts for all internal and rental events, and distribute to appropriate staff and vendors • On-site Person-In-Charge (PIC) for rental clients and support for non-rental roles (ex.
