The role of Marketing Special Events Planner at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is a dynamic and vital position within the Casino Marketing team. Reporting directly to the Special Events Manager, the planner plays an essential part in coordinating and executing a wide range of casino marketing events and promotions. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Special Events Planner's duties include assisting with event reservation calls, maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the event database, drafting welcome letters, and registering event guests. Close collaboration with VIP Services, Reservations, and various casino and hotel departments is critical to ensure smooth communication, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance, particularly related to gaming regulations.

The Special Events Planner is also involved in preparing welcome packets complete with event-specific materials such as timelines, tournament rules, food coupons, drawing tickets, banquet drink tickets, and concert admissions. They provide guests with personalized registration packets upon arrival and assist in coordinating the execution of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to meet event requirements precisely. Effective interdepartmental communication and supporting data for reports and records form part of the planner’s responsibilities, helping the marketing team stay aligned and supported.

This role demands a candidate who is adaptable and available to work various shifts as needed to fulfill event schedules. The planner also plays a proactive role in researching and managing relationships with vendors and entertainment providers, ensuring that every event runs smoothly from conception through completion. The position requires adherence to strict appearance and grooming standards to maintain the resort’s professional image. Nevada gaming registration required
Nevada alcohol awareness certification required
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
