Special Meetings and Events Planner

The National Center for Institutional Diversity (NCID) has an immediate opening for a Special Meetings and Events Planner. In addition to a career filled with purpose and opportunity, The University of Michigan offers a comprehensive benefits package to help you stay well, protect yourself and your family and plan for a secure future. • Be the production lead for NCID meetings and events (in-person, hybrid, and virtual) which include drafting event run of show, creating additional materials, coordinating collaborators for planning and debrief meetings, and facilitating planning and debriefing meetings. • Demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and an understanding of its relation to this role. In support of this overarching effort, four units within our office - the Center for Educational Outreach (CEO), Office of Academic Multicultural Initiatives (OAMI), National Center for Institutional Diversity (NCID) and Wolverine Pathways - all work closely with ODEI to further the strategic vision of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the University of Michigan.
