The Senior Coordinator position ensures effective and efficient organization, coordination, technical and database support for the Event Planning department. • Work with outside vendors to get samples for event items, negotiate pricing, place orders and coordinate assembly and distributing where applicable on procuring • Plan and organize logistics, details and schedules which include a high volume of calendar coordination for the event planning department including staff meetings, and 1x1s. Review monthly department expense transactions/budget, monitor materials/resources working closely with leaders to follow-up on irregularities and communicate with staff • Schedule assessments for example: department 1x1s • Other miscellaneous duties that support the Event Planning department per the EP leadership’s direction including but not limited to: creating new requisitions in Workday or other Thrivent software, coordinate mailings and shipments of materials needed, maintain inventory, schedule Cristo Rey high school students and interns for support work as needed. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
