Temporary Event Manager

Qualifications • Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith • Desire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministry • An Associate’s degree or above is preferred • Candidates must be able to travel on an intermittent basis locally • Demonstrate an ability to plan and execute across all departmental functions • Ability to be a servant leader who can lead and support Area Ministry staff • Candidate must be able to implement the vision and mission of Joni and Friends as expressed in operational goals for the event • Strength in integration management of ideas and processes; interpersonal and networking skills; conflict resolution, team building, budgeting, planning, and reporting • Candidate must possess the necessary skills to bridge relations between various volunteers of the ministry • Strong written and oral communication skills are a must • Experience in public speaking, multi-department communication, and team communication • Understanding of Christian ministry and specifically Joni and Friends is desirable Joni and Friends desire is to glorify God in the way we conduct ourselves, and in the work we do.
