Job Title: Temporary Event Security Personnel (Unarmed)

Job Summary:
Join our team as an Unarmed Security Officer for an upcoming music event and 5k run! Your primary role will be to provide a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and staff. This position involves access control, active monitoring of posts, and proactive crowd management. You’ll need to present a professional image and deliver outstanding customer service to help create a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
Special Considerations: Officers must be prepared to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain. Standing for extended periods is required at certain posts.
Responsibilities:
Report for duty on time and in full uniform. Ensure the safety and security of property, employees, and attendees. Communicate effectively with local police and other agencies as needed. Remain aware of the surrounding area to ensure effective security coverage. Use two-way radios and cell phones for communication. Observe and report any suspicious or unusual activities to supervisors and law enforcement. Conduct periodic patrols and log them on electronic monitoring devices. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be 21 years of age or older. Maintain physical health to meet job performance demands. Possess a Class D Security License. Proficient in speaking and writing detailed English. Willing to undergo a background investigation; employment is contingent upon successful completion. Pass a regulated drug test where required. Clean driving record for certain job responsibilities. Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work with a sense of urgency. Strong oral and written communication skills. Honesty, alertness, and discipline as custodians of safety. Dedicated vigilance and customer service orientation. Capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously. Collaborative team player who can follow directions effectively. Physical Requirements:

Ability to communicate clearly with employees and customers. Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs, alongside stair climbing.
