Temporary Position Event Assistant

Vanessa Behan is a center that provides emergency childcare for children birth through age 12 in a safe and nurturing environment. Under the supervision of the Development Director, these are the primary responsibility for this position: • To procure and follow up on auction items, contacting supporters, arranging delivery of items, picking up items as needed and other tasks as assigned. • Recruit and train volunteers prior to the event, manage the volunteers during the event and collaborate with others as needed. • Perform administrative tasks needed to support the Development team. Must work well under pressure, time constraints and have ability to meet multiple needs simultaneously.
