Sequel Med Tech is launching a groundbreaking product, and we’re looking for an Events Specialist to support the planning and execution of physician, patient (PWD), payer, and Sequel Connect events across the country. This role involves frequent nationwide travel and hands-on coordination of high-impact events.Job Responsibilities and Essential DutiesRegional and National Tradeshows: Plan and execute a full calendar of Tier 2 & 3 tradeshow events, including organizing payments for approved events, ordering booth properties and demo equipment, maintaining swag inventory, acquiring and maintaining new booth properties, and preparing pre-show briefing documents to ensure the field is well-prepared for events.Event Support and Coordination: Assist the Senior Events Leader with planning, logistics, and on-the-ground execution of national and international events, including HCP, PWD, payer, employer, and Sequel Connect programs.Logistics Management: Coordinate event logistics such as venue booking, catering, travel arrangements, AV support, and vendor management to ensure smooth and professional events.Sales Meeting Support: Support the execution of internal meetings, including regional sales meetings, training events, and the annual National Sales Meeting, in partnership with the Senior Events Leader and Sales leadership.Digital Events: Help organize digital events like webinars and virtual speaker programs, working with Marketing, Sales, and Clinical teams to ensure production runs smoothly.Event ROI Tracking: Assist with gathering event performance data, tracking key metrics, and helping develop scorecards to evaluate event effectiveness and support prioritization of future events.On-Site Support: Serve as on-the-ground support at events, managing registration, vendor coordination, and logistics to ensure seamless execution and a positive attendee experience.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Payer, Sequel Connect, and Product to ensure events align with business goals and brand messaging.Post-Event Reporting: Assist with collecting feedback and compiling post-event analysis to inform continuous improvement of Sequel’s event strategy.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.3+ years of work experience in an office setting.Proven experience supporting event logistics, marketing programs, or conference coordination; experience in a healthcare, medical device, or regulated industry is a plus.Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Flexible and responsive in a fast-paced, startup environment.Team player who takes direction well and can work collaboratively.Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with event planning tools is a plus.Passion for making a difference in people’s lives—especially those living with diabetes.Positive, proactive mindset with a strong work ethicAble and willing to regularly work in the Manchester, NH and/or Marlborough, MA office(s)Able and willing to travel nationwide, including occasional overnight travel.Sequel Med Tech provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.At Sequel, we believe that when you thrive, we thrive.
