Training Coordinator

**Office Location:** Foster City Office - Foster City, CA MidPen Housing is a non-profit organization who develops high-quality affordable housing communities, professionally manages the properties in those communities, and provides services to residents. Under the direction of the Director, Learning & Development, the Training Coordinator is responsible for organizing the logistics for training events, administering the company's Learning Management System (LMS), working with various administrative professionals to ensure support in the local offices, setting up internal/external courses and related sessions, coordinating all aspects of the attendance process, implementing training policies/procedures, overseeing administrative tasks, and other logistic support. * Maintains all aspects of the company's Learning Management System * Coordinates on-site, distance learning class schedules and external class attendance for participants from various departments * Supports onboarding training for new employees * Assists in the internal marketing of courses offered to all employees * Registers participants for various live training sessions, enrolls members in online courses and assigns them appropriate learning paths, as needed * Keeps accurate records of training participation for all employees at the company * Tracks completion of continuing education and required certifications to follow the required industry regulators * Arranges logistics for training sessions (room reservations, set up, ordering of food, name tags and sign-in sheets) and carries out any other necessary tasks to ensure successful learning events * Processes and responds to internal and external emails (general education-related inquiries) with tact and in a professional manner * Orders, maintains inventories, and prepares various training materials and supplies for the company's training programs * Addresses and resolves minor training-related issues with limited supervision * Supports the set-up, clean up, and advertisements of company-wide training sessions and other education-related activities * Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks, special projects and training initiatives * Builds effective relationships with other departments to support employee development * Coordinates with training vendors to ensure the success of their sessions (onsite and online) * Supports the production of distance learning events utilizing the latest technologies * Produces various monthly update reports for evaluations and training attendance * Modifies PowerPoint presentations and other educational materials * Performs other duties as required * Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) a plus * Must be able to work in a fast-paced and growing environment * Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills * Exceptional and effective written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences * Capable of meeting tight deadlines under pressure * Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities * High comfort level in dealing with vendors and employees at all levels in the organization * Demonstrated proficiency using MS Office suite applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Adobe Professional * Knowledgeable in utilizing various distance learning tools (GotoWebinar, WebEx, Adobe Connect, Zoom, or similar tools) * Knowledge of Learning Management Systems a plus * Must possess a valid California driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
