The university event manager will be principally responsible for coordinating the logistical arrangements for university-level events, especially signature/marquee events that both support and elevate the institutional brand and mission, originating from the President’s Office, Advancement, Marketing and Communications, and Athletics. The University Events Manager (UEM) will be principally responsible for coordinating the logistical arrangements for university-level events originating from the President’s Office, Advancement, Marketing and Communications, and Athletics. This includes, but is not limited to: • Dinners, receptions and other events at the President’s House, the President’s Office and hosted on campus by the President; • Events for the Board of Trustees and the Board of Regents; • Traditional or singular events at the direction of the President such as the Holiday Party, the University Awards Luncheon, and events related to the 250th Observance. In all instances, the incumbent is not responsible for the content of events but will coordinate with the appropriate office to ensure all logistical and technical elements are in place to deliver the event to the needs and expectations of the office responsible for that event. • Working with the appropriate offices responsible for each event to develop and manage the budget for the event.
