Venue Coordinator (Part Time)

As a Venue Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the venue and bar service during events and upholding company standards of hospitality. You’ll work with our clients and vendor teams to ensure a seamless and positive experience. If you are a people person who can multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, this role is for you! Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the on-site venue representative for vendors, clients, and guests • Respond to customer service questions and/or concerns as needed • Welcome and coordinate the arrival of clients, VIP guests, vendors, and other deliveries • Ensure the venue is set according to the floorplan and remains clean and functional throughout the event • Troubleshoot facility issues and problem-solve when required • Follow opening and closing standard procedures before and after each event • Oversee all staff members to ensure quality service and guest safety • Identify and communicate problem areas during or after the event • Monitor maintenance of the facility to ensure that it is clean and maintained according to company policies and procedure Qualifications & Requirements: • Weekend and evening availability is required • Punctuality, reliability, and exceptional work ethic are a must • Knowledge of banquet equipment, table and linen sizes, etc., preferred • Effective communication skills, problem-solving, and an ability to interpret direction • At least two years of management experience in the wedding, bar, events, or hospitality industry • A strong sense of urgency; self-directed with the ability to problem-solve with little direction • An outgoing personality and outstanding communication skills • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment • Strong commitment to a high level of service and quality standards
