In this position, you'll be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and readiness of our venue, as well as assisting with event setup, teardown, and day-of event support. Flexibility is key, as hours vary based on our event schedule. Event Day Support • Open and/or close the venue on event days • Set up and prep the space per event layout and schedule • Greet and communicate with clients, vendors, and internal staff • Adjust microphones, speakers, and basic AV/audio as needed • Assist with room flips and transitions (ceremony, cocktail, reception, etc.) Overall Skill Requirement Summary: • Provide exceptional customer service, and communication to our guests • Attend and actively participate with client in-person meetings and phone calls • Assist with proposals and contracts • Timely reply to client emails and respond to client calls • Ensure tidiness of catering and storeroom areas, including linens, rentals, beverages • Assist with scheduling on-call staff, bartenders, and cleaners • Run events, open and/or closing event manager onsite at the event center, or off-site at other catering events.
