Previous experience managing a wedding or event venue is a plus. • Communication and interpersonal skills: Venue and Events manager must be able to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and staff and build positive relationships with all parties involved in an event. • Leadership skills: Venue and Events manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of staff, and must have strong leadership skills. • Marketing and sales skills: Venue and Events manager must be able to effectively market and sell the venue to potential clients and must have a strong understanding of the wedding and event industry. • Customer service orientation: Venue and Events managers must have a strong customer service orientation and be dedicated to ensuring that clients have a positive experience at the venue.
