· Verbally communicate, in a calm, positive demeanor, during the course of the function with the kitchen, service, beverage, and other departments as well as group contact to ensure timely execution of events, quality service and adherence to all applicable federal, state, local safety and health regulations and corporate standards. In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, at the discretion of the manager based on the particular requirements of the hotel. • Assistance in support of banquet staff and managers in the execution of events according to the event sheets. The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to delegate responsibility and follow up on assigned work.
