The Wedding and Event Planner is responsible for collecting the guests’ needs and desires and effectively communicating them to the company’s operations department heads via the banquet event orders and clear communication. · Clearly understand and know by heart the company’s products, site features, and amenities in order to field any and all questions posed by prospective guests. Must possess high professional ethics and avoid extreme familiarity or conflicts with others. Requires unbiased communication skills to handle all types of conflicts that will occur at all levels of supervision and the ability to negotiate effectively. · Flexibility: Must be available to work overtime when needed, assist with the workload of others, and perform other duties as assigned.
