Wedding and Events Manager

We are looking for a Wedding and Event Manager to plan weddings, conduct initial consultations with clients to discuss the wedding/event packages available at Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa, lead a team of kitchen and wait staff and make sure they deliver excellent customer service during weddings and large events. Wedding and Events Manager responsibilities include planning food and beverage menus, scheduling tours of the property for guests inquiring about future weddings, scheduling shifts and coordinating food preparation and decoration details during events. • Oversee and manage all contracts, insurance coverages, and communication with our vendors as well as client's vendors of choice. • Manage, create and send out invoices/contracts. Skills • Work experience in the wedding industry is preferred • Must have excellent organizational and time-management skills • Must have great interpersonal skills • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under stressful circumstances is imperative • Availability to work weekends and holidays is a must
