The Lead Wedding Coordinator role at Leigh & Co. The compensation for this role is set at $350 per project, based on an expected commitment of 10 to 12 hours. This role is geared towards professionals who are excited to begin working with us for the 2026 wedding season and beyond.
As a Lead Wedding Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing wedding planning services onsite, collaborating closely with client experience managers during the preparation phase, and assistant coordinators during the event itself. Your responsibilities will include attending final details calls about six weeks prior to the wedding, leading the ceremony rehearsal, and overseeing event setup and execution to ensure a seamless flow. You will act as the primary advocate for the couple on the wedding day, maintaining a calm and solution-oriented approach to address any issues that arise.
Additionally, you will coordinate vendor activities, communicate setup instructions, and assist with the placement of personal and decorative items while supporting the wedding party with timing and guidance. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all end-of-event items such as gifts and décor are collected and accounted for.
