Wedding Day Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Wedding Day Assistant to join our events team at the Masonic Temple. This is a hands‑on, behind‑the‑scenes role supporting the seamless execution of weddings from initial setup through final breakdown. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive, and committed to ensuring every detail is executed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the events team in executing wedding timelines and coordinating transitions throughout the day
• Ensure all event spaces are clean, organized, and prepared according to client specifications
• Work closely with vendors (caterers, florists, DJs, photographers) to facilitate smooth operations
• Monitor event flow and proactively address any issues or last‑minute changes
• Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of event presentation and execution
• Assist with guest direction and general inquiries as needed
• Participate in post‑event breakdown, including clearing spaces
• Follow all venue policies and safety procedures

Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and move event equipment
• Previous event or hospitality experience is an asset but not required
