Lively Co Events is looking for Wedding & Event Day Assistants to join our event team on an as-needed, event-by-event basis.

We’re a full-service wedding and event planning company focused on creating celebrations that feel thoughtful, personal, joyful, and exceptionally well-executed. Our team is small, hands-on, and hospitality-driven — and we’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy making other people’s experiences better.

What You’ll Do

Our event assistants support the Lively team throughout wedding and event days. Responsibilities may include:

Assisting with event setup and breakdown
Placing décor, personal details, signage, florals, favors, place settings, and other event elements
Helping with ceremony setup and transitions
Greeting and assisting guests with a warm, professional attitude
Supporting vendors and venue staff as directed by the Lively team
Keeping event spaces organized and guest-ready throughout the day
Helping with timeline execution and transitions
Assisting with personal items, décor changes, and other event-day needs
Responding calmly and professionally when plans change
Helping with end-of-night cleanup, packing, and load-out
Being a reliable extra set of hands wherever the event needs you

Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Comfortable working on their feet for extended periods
Detail-oriented and naturally organized
Calm under pressure and able to think on their feet
Friendly, personable, and comfortable interacting with guests
Willing to jump in and help without needing to be asked every time
Comfortable working as part of a small team
Professional in appearance, communication, and demeanor
Able to lift and carry event items and assist with physical setup/breakdown
Available primarily for evenings and weekends

Previous wedding, event, hospitality, restaurant, venue, or customer-service experience is a plus, but not required. We care just as much about attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

You’ll get hands-on experience inside the wedding and events industry while working alongside experienced planners and event professionals. You’ll see how a celebration comes together behind the scenes and play a real role in making the experience seamless for our clients and their guests.

We’re looking for people who take pride in the little things and understand that great hospitality often means noticing what needs to be done before anyone asks.

Details

Position: Part-Time / Event-Based

Location: Cincinnati, OH + Northern Kentucky and surrounding areas

Schedule: Primarily evenings and weekends; event-based and not guaranteed weekly hours

Experience: Entry-level welcome; relevant experience preferred
