You will have the responsibility of understanding the various venue spaces that we offer, and a firm grasp of pricing structures. The wedding & event sales coordinator will have the opportunity to sell events taking place in the 5 historic Belvedere Ballrooms, the 13TH Floor Venue and the Owl Bar restaurant. • Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing personality • Pleasant, polite manner, neat and clean appearance • Highly detailed and organized to ensure processes are maintained and client communication is responded to in a timely manner • Ability to motivate the team to ensure that our services meet appropriate standards • Must be able to coordinate and handle the pressures associated with a wide range of activities to prioritize daily tasks • Solution driven - ability to recommend appropriate solutions to difficult guest situations to maintain client satisfaction • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, comfort calling clients • Proficient with google documents • Comfortable negotiating with clients and discussing pricing and contract terms • Familiarity with analyzing sales reports/trends and firm understanding of cost of goods and services. Compensation depends on your experience.
