Wedding & Events Sales Manager

The W&E Sales Manager is responsible for planning and executing the needs of all wedding and social events. • Handle contracts, negotiations, deposits and final payment of events including account reconciliations after events according to company policy • Review menu and floral selections with flower buyer, design, and Production Manager to ensure are florals and hardgoods are ordered and received on time • Develops floral production sheets to communicate specifics to event production and installation teams and to ensure proper scheduling of team members for events • Follows up with client to receive feedback, ensure satisfaction or addresses concerns • Build relationships with vendors and network with others in the wedding/event industry • Research and keep up with the trends evolving in the wedding industry to ensure a competitive advantage • Partners with Marketing Manager to create a wedding/events marketing strategy and to relay all promotions/holidays/specials to a book of contacts (concierge, event planners, etc.) • Interacts in a positive, cooperative and professional manner, with all levels of employees, vendors and/or clients, in a team environment. Skills • Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, as needed based on event schedules • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite • Curate, salesforce, or other CRM or event planning software is a plus • Preferred background in Event, Restaurant, Hotel or Entertainment Industry • Must have proven wedding/event sales track record with at least 5 years of experience • Must be knowledgeable with color and design, and have an eye for creativity. Knowledge in florals is preferred.
