About the position Responsibilities • Create wedding timelines for couples • Advocate for the couple, keeping them calm under pressure • Assist with any issues that arise throughout the day • Oversee ceremony and reception setup • Execute all day-of operations for the wedding • Greet and direct all vendors • Communicate with all vendors regarding setups • Set up seating cards, menu cards, table numbers, favors, guest book, and other decor • Assist the wedding party and family with any needs, questions, or concerns • Ensure end-of-event arrangements are made for gifts, guest book, toasting flutes, etc. Requirements • Ability to work weekends is essential • Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner • Must have strong communication skills and be detail-oriented • Must have reliable transportation • Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.
