Wedding Planner

As a Wedding Planner, you will be responsible for working with clients in planning and executing their dream weddings. While this role is primarily located in Chicago, IL, some remote work is flexible. Qualifications • Minimum of one year of wedding or event industry experience • Previous experience working in hospitality at restaurants, hotels, catering, floral, or other wedding and event related companies • Strong organizational and time management skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities • Creativity and a keen eye for design and aesthetics • Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines • Knowledge of the local wedding industry and vendors is a plus • Proficiency in spreadsheets and event management software • A commitment to sustainability and incorporating eco-friendly practices in weddings • Availability to work evenings and weekends as necessary • Reliable car and valid drivers license • Reliable computer, phone, and internet access
