Events is on the lookout for enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and client-focused Wedding Planner Assistants to work alongside our Lead Planners in creating unforgettable wedding experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to dive into the wedding industry and gain invaluable hands-on experience while being mentored by seasoned professionals.

As a Wedding Planner Assistant, you will be crucial in ensuring that every wedding runs seamlessly. Your contributions will include assisting with event setup, enhancing the guest experience, coordinating with vendors, executing timelines, and managing transitions throughout the reception.

This event-based role primarily involves weekend weddings, with compensation set at $150 per event.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Lead Planner during the setup of ceremonies and receptions in line with the designated floor plan.Arrange decorative items like signage, candles, favors, menus, place cards, and other personal details to create an inviting atmosphere.Maintain clean and organized event spaces, ensuring they are always presentation-ready throughout the day.Greet and aid vendors upon their arrival, ensuring a smooth coordination process.Assist in organizing the ceremony by lining up the wedding party and coordinating the processional timing.Help manage guest flow and respond to inquiries during the event, enhancing their experience.Monitor the reception timeline in collaboration with the Lead Planner to keep everything on track.Assist in room transitions and reception flips as needed to ensure a seamless flow.Coordinate special moments such as the cake cutting, grand entrance, speeches, first dances, bouquet toss, and other scheduled highlights.Gather personal items and ensure proper packing of designated décor at the event’s conclusion.Support problem-solving efforts while maintaining a calm demeanor and professionalism.Represent Leigh & Co. with courtesy and exceptional client service at all times.If you are passionate about events and ready to learn in a dynamic and supportive environment, we would love to hear from you!
