Wedding Planner - Central NC

Company Description K.S.Otter Events (KSO) is a sustainable, inclusive wedding planning firm headquartered in Greensboro, NC, with an active presence across the Triangle and central North Carolina. You'll also be KSO's face in the central NC wedding community, building relationships with venues, inclusive vendors, and creative partners across the region. Own assigned weddings end to end: client communication, planning, vendor coordination, timeline build, and day of execution as the lead on-site planner Serve as KSO's primary in-region presence in central NC, building relationships with venues and the local creative vendor community Run client meetings (consultations, design meetings, venue walkthroughs, final details) using our established meeting frameworks and systems Attend approximately 4 networking events, venue tours, or industry meetings per month Construct detailed wedding timelines and floor plans using our systems and tools Build and maintain vendor relationships across the Triangle and Greensboro; contribute to our preferred vendor list with strong local options Communicate consistently and proactively with couples, vendors, and the KSO team using our email templates and SOPs Document client decisions, vendor agreements, and timeline updates inside our planning systems Travel within central NC and occasionally to other locations for weddings, training, and team gatherings Flag market-specific opportunities and challenges to the CEO as we expand KSO's central NC presence Step in as backup for other planners as needed Required Qualifications: Existing relationships with venues, florists, photographers, or other wedding vendors across central NC Ideally at least 2 years' experience, but no former experience required.
