Training will be provided, allowing interns to gain invaluable hands-on experience by working alongside seasoned planners at real weddings and events.
The Wedding Planner Intern - Assistant Role will offer on-site support during weddings and special events, assisting the Lead Planner with event execution, client interactions, vendor coordination, and managing wedding day logistics. This position is perfect for detail-oriented, dependable individuals who have a passion for the wedding industry.
ResponsibilitiesAssist Lead Planners with the execution of wedding days and special events.Help set up ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces following event plans.Support the wedding timeline and ensure that scheduled activities remain on track.Welcome and assist vendors during their arrival, setup, and breakdown.Coordinate and organize the wedding party effectively.Provide assistance to guests and address questions throughout the event.Manage the placement of décor and oversee event details as directed.Troubleshoot minor issues and support last-minute changes as they arise.Assist with event breakdown and packing of décor, gifts, and personal items.Represent Leigh & Co. Events in a professional manner at all times.RequirementsAvailability to work weekends is essential.Strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail are required.Reliable transportation is a must.Ability to carry and lift items weighing up to 30 lbs.
