Wedding Planning Intern

Dream Day Events | Wedding & Event Planning Dream Day Events is a full-service wedding planning company based in Haverford, Pennsylvania. We are seeking a reliable, punctual, high-energy intern who is serious about gaining real-world experience in the wedding and event planning industry. This is a partially remote position, but all event days are on-site. • Weekend availability is REQUIRED (most weddings are Fridays–Sundays) • Intern must be available for all or the vast majority of pre-booked client event dates between March and December 15 • Being on time is non-negotiable — events run on tight schedules and clients depend on us • No-excuse mentality: events happen rain or shine, holidays, long days, early mornings, and late nights included • Applicants who anticipate frequent conflicts, last-minute cancellations, or inconsistent availability should not apply • Transportation Requirement • Must have your own car • Must be able to drive to multiple event locations throughout the Philadelphia area • Reliable transportation is essential for this role • Ideal Candidate • Highly dependable, punctual, and professional • Comfortable working long event days and on your feet • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive • Positive attitude under pressure • Interested in pursuing a career in event planning, weddings, or hospitality • Social media experience is a plus • Education & Experience • Associate’s degree or higher preferred • Prior event or hospitality experience preferred but not required • What You’ll Gain • Hands-on experience with real weddings and live events • Direct mentorship from seasoned planners • Insight into timelines, vendor management, client communication, and event execution • Exposure to the business and creative sides of event planning
