While our premium, locally grown and produced wine is the centerpiece of our business, it is showcased in a venue that allows one to experience the beauty of Central PA and experience a respite from the busyness of life. Our Wedding & Event Sales specialist will be expected to provide the highest level of customer service in order to deliver an amazing experience to our customers each time. Manage all communication with clients, answer questions about the venue, provide vendor suggestions, assist with wine and beer selection and alcohol order. Manage set-up of tables/chairs for event the week of the wedding. Other duties as assigned Full-time Position will also involve Tasting Room Event Planning/Coordination Plan, coordinate and manage/oversee special events Communicate with TR Manager on staffing Post events to online calendars, Send related press releases, Keep events up to date on website and facebook Book Thursday Night events - open mic, yoga, salsa, plant night, country line dance, paint night, other craft nights Create content for social media calendar, Develop social media calendar, Creative pictures and posts to engage with followers Develop, manage, and grow the wine club What You Will Need: High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus related experience in wedding/event sales and coordination RAMP certification (provided by Grandview) Required to work weekends and be flexible with scheduling Required to be 21 years of age or older Required to be able to lift/move up to 50lbs Required to be able to stand for up to 5 or more hours Note: This job description reflects essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
