Are you a go-getter with a passion for events and sales? Saint John's Resort is seeking an energetic and passionate Wedding & Social Events Sales Coordinator to join our amazing team! Responsibilities: • Serve as a liaison between the sales team and clients • Respond effectively to inquiries and distribute them appropriately • Assist in detailing and entering client's menu selections • Coordinate appointments and answer telephones according to hotel standards • Prepare written correspondence including letters, contracts, reports, schedule of events, and emails using MS Outlook and Sales system • Maintain files and sales databases according to company standards • Execute assigned sales reporting and meet all deadlines • Follow up on special projects and assignments from the Sales Directors • Provide general office support to the Wedding Sales Managers and Sales Directors • Conduct property tours for clients as needed • Complete purchase orders • Perform administrative tasks such as typing, filing, copying, and sorting mail • Occasionally assist with front-of-the-house operations, including greeting and directing guests and working with banquets on quick sets or tear downs • Coordinate multiple tasks effectively • Possess computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Work Environment: • Standard office and hotel setting • Professional, passionate, and positive work environment • Work schedule requires working in office on Saturday • Ability to work with a diverse group of co-workers, vendors, and partners • Passionate about making a mark in the hospitality industry Experience: • Minimum 1-year experience in a business office setting.
