Wedding Venue General Manager

About the position

Wedgewood Weddings is seeking experienced hospitality leaders for their General Manager in Training (GMIT) program. This program is designed for established leaders to learn and master the Wedgewood venue management model over 6-12 months. Trainees will gain hands-on experience in all venue departments, including sales, event execution, culinary operations, and financial management, with support from experienced General Managers and centralized teams. The goal is to prepare individuals to confidently lead their own Wedgewood Weddings venue.

Responsibilities

Oversee all venue departments—culinary, sales, event planning, and banquet operationsRecruit, train, and develop talented teams through coaching, motivation, and daily leadershipDrive financial success by managing revenue, labor, and cost controlExecute high-volume events with precision, poise, and a guest-first mindsetChampion our culture and uphold brand standards through positivity, professionalism, and integrityAdapt to a dynamic schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidaysRequirements
