Location: Columbia Are you outgoing, creative with a passion for delivering world-class weddings and events?We are looking for an experienced and talented Wedding & Events Manager to join our fantastic venue, ForgansWhat is in it for you?You will have access to the following benefits that include:30% off of food and cinema tickets in all of our venues across Scotland.Hotel and Apartment discounts.Access to cashback and discounted vouchers.Flexible working opportunities.Career development through our internal training programme.The Role As Wedding & Events Manager, your role will include:Carrying out all daily operations of the Conference and Banqueting areasEnsure there is open communications at all times between the operational team and sales teamEnsure that all guests are given prompt, attentive service at all times.Ensure that all front of house areas are well presented, and ensure that all maintenance work carried out by the in-house team is up-to-datePlan and coordinate weddings, receptions, corporate events, parties, and other special occasionsPrepare event proposals, timelines, contracts, and quotationsConduct venue tours and assist clients with event planning decisionsMaintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referralsPromote services through networking, marketing activities, and social media where requiredEnsure all required standards and procedures of the company are met.The Person The ideal candidate will have:Previous experience in event management, hospitality, weddings, or customer serviceExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to multitask and work under pressure in fast-paced environmentsProblem-solving and decision-making skillsAttention to detail and creativityProficiency with Microsoft Office and event management softwareA strong commercial awarenessAvailability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as per business needs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
