Responsible for ensuring the implementation of the Front Porch Vitality Initiative by planning and carrying out comprehensive programming, activities and events addressing the six dimensions of whole person wellness in all levels of service/care. The Life Enrichment Specialist may be asked to provide departmental leadership in the absence of the Life Enrichment Director. · Is able to operate the appropriate technical equipment necessary to running a comprehensive Life Enrichment program. Wears PPE/safety equipment as required for the job. · Activity director certificate required; Five years’ experience in related field with effective leadership and organizational skills, knowledge of the budgetary process and an understanding of the recreation and leisure needs of seniors; Working knowledge of OBRA and Title 22 regulations and experience in MDS assessment is needed.
