Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Adult Athletic Event Coordinator to oversee the smooth operation of adult athletic events. This role involves ensuring event security, accurate scorekeeping, efficient ticket sales and distribution, effective coordination with meet officials, precise clock operations, clear announcements, and attentive usher services. Key Responsibilities: • Event Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment for participants and spectators • Scorekeeping: Accurately record scores and statistics during events • Ticket Sales and Distribution: Sell and distribute tickets to spectators efficiently • Meet Officials: Coordinate with officials to ensure seamless event execution • Clock Operator: Operate the clock to accurately keep track of time and elapsed intervals • Announcer: Make clear and timely announcements to inform spectators of event updates and results • Usher Services: Provide assistance to spectators and ensure they are aware of event details Requirements: • High School Diploma or Equivalent required • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and move quickly when needed • Basic math skills for accurate scorekeeping and transaction handling
