This is an as-needed, event-based role, perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments, special events, and being part of meaningful celebrations. As a Wedding Coordinator Assistant, you’ll work alongside a lead coordinator on the day of the wedding, supporting everything from setup to teardown. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, communicates well, takes initiative without being asked, and genuinely enjoys helping others during high-energy events. Duties • Assist with wedding day setup and teardown • Support the lead coordinator throughout the entire event (morning through evening) • Manage and communicate with vendors as needed • Assist guests with directions, seating, and general questions • Run errands or last-minute tasks as they arise • Help maintain the wedding day timeline and flow • Problem-solve calmly and efficiently in real time • Ensure the couple and guests have a smooth, enjoyable experience Experience • Previous experience is preferred but not required • Experience in weddings, events, food & beverage, country clubs, or hospitality is a plus • Strong communication skills and the ability to think on your feet • Reliable, punctual, and easy to reach via phone/text on event days • Comfortable being on your feet for long periods and working long event days • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a team-first mindset
