Assistant Event Manager - Entry Level

Position Overview: As an Assistant Event Manager at Invictus, you'll play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing various events, including corporate functions, fundraisers, and promotional activities • Help manage event staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality execution of events • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with clients and attendees, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded • Contribute to developing and distributing marketing materials to boost event attendance and engagement • Monitor event activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth event flow • Support tracking of event performance, assist with preparing reports, and help with post-event follow-ups • Collaborate with the team to design and implement event marketing and fundraising strategies that align with client goals Qualifications: • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, attendees, and team members • Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously • Willingness to work evenings and weekends, as event schedules require • A genuine interest in event planning and fundraising, with a passion for learning and growing in the industry • Previous event planning or management experience is a plus, but not required.
