World of Illumination (WOI) is looking for a seasonal Assistant Event Manager to help with the operations of WOI’s Holiday Drive Through locations. • Takes pride and initiative in their work. • Can efficiently manage a team of Park Ambassadors. • Act as the Show’s “Stage Manager” by calling opening and closing queue sequences, ensuring Park Ambassadors are performing to the best of their ability, and maintaining the Show’s quality throughout the entire run of show • Work closely with the Event Manager to ensure all park guests are receiving the ultimate guest experience. • Able to perform all park positions to a high standard and ensure all ambassadors are doing the same • Assist with pre-show checklist • Assist with end of the night production report • Create an environment and culture to ensure staff retention • Ensure Front of House office is always organized and clean • Ensure all equipment is ready on a nightly basis • Understand the park’s event operational plan to superiority • Communicate with vendors and keep accurate vendor records • Ensure merchandise procedures are being followed and ensure all merchandise is accounted for on a nightly basis • Feel comfortable with and be the main leader in executing Contingency Plans/Emergency Action Protocols
