Assistant Event Manager

The Event Manager serves as a primary operational representative of LV Event Designs and is responsible for ensuring that every event is executed professionally, efficiently and in accordance with the company's standards of service and presentation. This position requires strong leadership, excellent client and vendor communication, attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced event environment. The Event Manager will oversee the event from pre-event preparation and venue setup through guest service, food and beverage coordination and final breakdown. Serve as a professional representative of LV Event Designs when communicating with clients, venues and event partners.Review event details, timelines, floor plans, menus, staffing requirements and special client requests prior to each event.Understand the client's expectations and ensure that those expectations are communicated clearly to the event team.Maintain professional, courteous and responsive communication with clients before, during and following events.Anticipate potential issues and proactively develop solutions before they affect the guest experience.Protect the client's experience by resolving operational issues discreetly and professionally.Vendor & Venue Relations Client satisfaction.Event execution and attention to detail.Staff leadership and preparedness.Food and beverage service standards.Adherence to event timelines.Vendor and venue relationships.Accuracy of setup and breakdown.Professionalism and communication.Problem-solving and decision-making.Compliance with LV Event Designs policies and procedures.Protection and accountability of company property and event inventory.Our Standard
