Reporting directly to the Director of the MSU College Advising Corps (CAC) Program, Associate Program Coordinators play a critical role in the planning, communications, and execution of this federally funded AmeriCorps program, including recruitment, professional development, and supervision of College Advisers serving at up to 35 high schools across the State of Michigan. Financial Management • Assist in the oversight of program budget with financial projections for position specific activities such as recruitment, professional development workshops, and adviser evaluations and site visits. This position is a hybrid position located in a specific geographic area of the State of Michigan (Eastern) and is currently funded through June 30, 2026 with possible extension contingent upon funding renewal. Minimum Requirements • Knowledge equivalent to that which would normally be acquired in a four-year college degree in Public Relations, Communications, Business • One to three years of related and progressively more responsible and expansive work experience in a field related to the position including, but not limited to: • Planning and managing special events • Budgets (expenditures, reconciliations, and projections) • Communications (internal and external; marketing, social media) • Education (college access, student success) • Supervision of 10+ staff in remote positions • Direct service to students, parents, schools • Partnership development and fostering (schools, community orgs, etc.) Remote Work Statement
