Banquet Coordinator

The Banquet Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, setup, execution, and breakdown of all banquet and event functions at the hotel. As a one-person banquet operation, the Banquet Coordinator works independently while collaborating closely with Sales, Food and Beverage, Front Desk, Engineering, and Housekeeping to deliver successful events. Operations & Logistics • Set up tables, chairs, linens, staging, and basic A/V as required • Monitor event spaces for cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards • Maintain / Inventory banquet storage areas, equipment, and inventory in an organized and operational condition • Coordinate with Engineering for room temperature, lighting, and maintenance needs Qualifications • Previous experience in banquets, events, food & beverage, or hotel operations preferred • Ability to work independently and manage multiple events or priorities • Strong organizational and communication skills • High level of professionalism and customer service orientation • Ability to lift, move, and set up banquet furniture and equipment (up to 50 lbs) • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs This position requires significant time spent standing, walking, lifting, and moving equipment in banquet and event spaces.
