Banquet Manager

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Plan, coordinate, and oversee banquet events from setup through breakdown.
* Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate banquet staff.
* Coordinate with clients, event planners, kitchen staff, vendors, and other depts.
* Ensure  proper room setup, food and beverage service, décor, and event timing.
* Conduct pre-event meetings and communicate event details and service expectations to staff.
* Monitor service quality and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
* Manage staffing levels, labor costs, inventory, and banquet supplies.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company standards.
* Review  event orders and ensure all client requirements are accurately executed.
* Maintain professional relationships with clients and help generate repeat business.
* Lead post-event reviews and identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency.

Requirements

* Minimum of 3 years of supervisory/management experience, preferably in a country club or hospitality environment
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
* Experience with point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays
* Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
