In addition to overseeing the operational aspects of events, the Senior Events Manager is also accountable for the financial management of each event. • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field • minimum 5-7 years of experience in event planning preferably in a luxury or full-service hotel environment • proven leadership experience managing a team • strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail • excellent communication and negotiation skills • proficiency in event management software such as Delphi, Opera Sales & Catering, Social Tables • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays • able to stand and walk for extended periods during event setup and execution • willingness to work in a fast-paced hotel environment with long hours during peak seasons and large events • required to be on-site during major functions
