We are currently seeking an experienced Sales and Event Manager to join our team. • Develop new strategies to drive business growth • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities • Maximize revenue by upselling each opportunity • Closing deals that meet hotel needs and market conditions • Built lasting relationships with key customers • Serve as liaison between hotel and customer throughout event sales process • Create event information and manage communication to successfully execute events • Increase hotel occupancy by adhering to group ceilings and restrictions • Maintain market awareness, including competitor strengths/weaknesses, economic trends, and supply/demand • Represent hotel at community organization meetings to promote brand • Promote hotels through internal and external correspondence, i.e., contracts, proposals, and event orders
