Catering and Event Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Actively seek new catering accounts and promote catering services to existing clients to achieve ambitious sales targets.

Build and nurture strategic relationships with both new and existing clients and venues.

Coordinate with clients, venues, and vendors to create tailored menus and rental agreements, ensuring all event requirements are met.

Oversee off-premises events to guarantee exceptional customer satisfaction.

Stay updated on market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape within the catering and events industry.

Manage Chef's Choice Catering's social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

Represent the company at local wedding expos and community networking events.

Maintain strong relationships with multiple local venues to address both client and company needs effectively.

Exhibit flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Ensure your ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Exceptional customer service skills.

At least 2 years of experience in event planning or catering sales.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Outstanding oral and written communication, along with organizational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Experience in community catering and event sales.

Solid culinary knowledge.

Familiarity with Caterease catering software.
