Catering and Event Planner

Catering and Event Sales Planner conceive, organize and execute special events from corporate deliveries to special occasions such as weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries and retirement parties. They assist in executing their clients' event visions through the execution of the client's needs and budgets. The Catering and Event Planner will start to do extensive research and will assume all responsibilities for planning the party, from determining the menu to booking vendors. This is a management position, which will require the candidate to provide professional direction to the staff that they will be overseeing. • Ability to create a fun good-hearted work environment, while executing a successful event • Knowledgeable of food service styles, as well as Food Health and Safety Standards • Two-plus years' experience in events and venue sales in the event planning industry • Experience Planning events form 10-500 guests.
