Catering Assistant to Event managers

Summary: Picnic Basket Catering Collective has been creating memorable events in Colorado Springs and the Front Range since 1989. The Catering Assistant to Event Managers supports the coordination and execution of catered events, ensuring a professional service-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
- Support Event Managers in coordinating and executing catered events
- Organizing event details
- Assisting with event setup and breakdown
- Helping with food and beverage service
- Ensuring that client expectations are met throughout the event
- Handling administrative tasks such as preparing documents
- Updating event schedules
- Answering phones
- Relaying information between kitchen, event staff, and clients

Required Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to support event documentation, scheduling, and office tasks
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Phone Etiquette skills for interacting with clients, guests, vendors, and internal staff
- Candidates should possess Executive Administrative Assistance capabilities to help Event Managers with planning, coordination, and follow-up activities
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in hospitality, events, or catering environments is beneficial
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling or event management tools are a plus
- Additional training in hospitality or event management is an advantage
